Vikramgad is one of Palghar's important tribal cultural landscapes. Warli communities and other tribal groups maintain traditional forms of painting, Tarpa dance and drumming. During Dussehra, traditional Tarpa performances are held in villages, while the Bohada festival features masks representing gods and goddesses. The cultural landscape provides an opportunity to understand the living traditions of central Palghar.
