Talasari Tribal Cultural Region

Talasari is a predominantly tribal taluka in northern Palghar close to the Gujarat border. Warli, Dhodia and other communities maintain traditional cultural practices, agriculture, village customs and local art forms. The region combines inland agricultural landscapes with access to the northern Palghar coastline and nearby beaches.
