Surya Dam, also known as Dhamni Dam, is an important water infrastructure and scenic reservoir in Palghar district. The reservoir is surrounded by hills and forests and becomes especially attractive during the monsoon and immediately afterward. The broader Surya basin supports agriculture and local communities.
