Sindhudurg Fort is one of Maharashtra's most important maritime heritage monuments. Built under Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj between 1664 and 1667, the fort stands on an island in the Arabian Sea off Malvan. Its massive walls, bastions, hidden entrance and sea setting make it one of the most iconic attractions of the Konkan coast.
