Shirpamal

Shirpamal is a historically important location on the Jawhar-Nashik Road near Dharampur, about 4 kilometres from Jawhar. According to the district tourism account, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj stayed here overnight while travelling toward Surat and was felicitated by the local king. The site represents an important part of Jawhar's Maratha-era historical landscape.
