Pernem is an important town in northern Goa and the administrative center of Pernem taluka. The area provides access to several coastal destinations including Arambol, Mandrem, Ashwem, Morjim and Querim. Pernem also has traditional temples, local markets and cultural landmarks that reflect the region's Goan heritage.
