Nerul is a scenic village in Bardez situated close to the Mandovi River and the tourist areas of Candolim and Sinquerim. The village retains traditional Goan character with old houses, churches, waterways and lush vegetation. It provides a quieter cultural alternative to the nearby beach resorts.
