Mollem National Park forms part of the larger Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary and protects an important section of Goa's Western Ghats. The park contains dense tropical forests, streams, hills and diverse wildlife. It is particularly significant for biodiversity conservation and nature-based tourism in eastern Goa.
