Khadkhad Dam

Khadkhad Dam is one of the notable water reservoirs in Jawhar taluka. The dam was constructed during the period of the former Jawhar princely state and forms part of the water-supply system serving Jawhar and surrounding villages. The surrounding hills, forests and monsoon greenery make the reservoir an attractive scenic destination.
