Bankot

Bankot is a historic coastal settlement in Mandangad taluka situated near the mouth of the Savitri River. Its strategic coastal location made it important in the maritime history of the Konkan. The surrounding area features beaches, fishing villages, coconut plantations and historic fortifications.
